One of our first major assessments in HASS (humanities and
social sciences) is to design the perfect society, a Utopia - the perfect city
or place. Some of the tasks that we are required to do are develop
plans/diagrams/models, provide explanations, identify and overcome challenges,
document progress and obviously blog it. So far we have come up with a location
for our perfect island (underneath Australia but above Tasmania) by having our
island here it will have warm to normal temperature with enough rain to suffice,
we have also come up with a name 'Perfectus Orbis' meaning the perfect world
and we have discussed the different jobs, buildings and activities we will
need. We haven’t reached any problems yet but we are still in discussion of
what we need to have an amazing island.
